Abacaxi Assado

Want to try a new barbecue dish? Then put fresh pineapple on the grill and enjoy delicious Brazilian Abacaxi Assado!

Preparation:

1. Peel the pineapple, remove the stem, and cut it into slices (about 6 slices per pineapple).

2. Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over the pineapple.

3. Grill the pineapple slices for 8 to 10 minutes on both sides (alternatively you can use a grill pan).

4. Garnish the slices with honey.

(Vegan) vanilla ice cream can be a tasty accessory for the pineapples. 😊
